Para N. Kiala

Para N. Kiala was born in 1972  in Kinshasa / Democratic Republic of Congo.

In 1990 Para N. Kiala graduated from high school and then attended the University of INA (Institut National des Arts) Art and Culture (acting class). From 1991 to 1996 he worked at Afadra (Association of Faiseurs d’art dramatique). Because the economic and political situation in Zaire was tense, he came to Berlin at the age of 24.

In 2002 Para N. Kiala was discovered by Peter Atanasov, his first role was in Berlin in the play “Audience” by Peter Handke. Since then he has worked for the theater and had a break in pieces such as  “Räubergötz”, “Die Atriden”, “Spartacus”, ” Wolokolamsker Chausseee- Hannibal” and “Penthesilea”
These and other works have been performed on various  theater stages (“Berlin Alexanderplatz” by Alfred Doblin), and Theatre 89 (“Flawless”, Rafael Kohn).
